About kidhy

We're mums on a mission
hydra helpa is the brainchild of mums, formulated by experts and backed by science. We're on a mission to deliver delicious hydration that kids actually want to drink and parents can feel great about handing over.
Because if they’re not drinking it, it doesn’t matter how “healthy” it is. So we created a drink that’s tasty and good for their little bodies, supporting both hydration and gut health for kids in one glorious sachet.
It’s hydration that fits into real life, whether you’re in crisis mode (gastro, anyone?) or navigating a “water is too watery” day.
Welcome to the kidhy community

If you've ever...
✦ Found yourself pleading with a sick kid to just take one sip
✦ Faced a drink stand-off at the dinner table
✦ Made the late-night dash for a suddenly essential glass of water
✦ Watched your child bake under the Aussie sun and thought, “this’ll end in a headache”.
You're one of us!
You’re a parent, carer or educator doing their best to raise happy, hydrated, healthy kids, one meltdown and mouthful at a time.
We see you. We are you. That’s why we made hydra helpa, a hydration solution that supports kids' health and brings a little calm to the chaos.
What’s in it: The not-so-secret formula
hydra helpa is a smart hydration solution made for growing bodies (and tiny taste buds). We believe in education, not overwhelm. If you’re the kind of parent who reads ingredient panels (hi, same), this section’s for you.

Even mild dehydration in children can mess with:

Memory
Even mild dehydration can make it harder for little brains to recall information and learn new things effectively.
Mood
A dip in hydration can lead to irritability, fussiness, and those unexpected meltdowns, impacting their overall happiness.
Focus
Proper hydration helps them stay on task and engaged, supporting their ability to concentrate during play and learning.
Learning
Good hydration supports cognitive function, making it easier for kids to absorb, process, and retain new information.

Meet Anna & Danielle (the hydration mums)
We’re real-life friends, snack-time warriors and cofounders of kidhy. We were brought together by a corporate life in mining towns, motherhood and one too many sick day hydration battles.
We’ve both been that mum on the bathroom floor during gastro week. We’ve both stood in the pharmacy aisle trying to decode labels on kids’ drinks that weren’t made with real kids' health in mind.
So, we made something better.
Now, we’re sharing it with other families who care about gut health for kids, simple hydration, and a little less stress at sick time.
